It is, in fact, day eight of the Thirty Paintings in 30 Days Challenge. I skipped day seven in hopes of catching up on the weekend. Work has been more tiring than usual, probably because of the recent holidays. Bah!
This stylish abode belongs to a gnomish clock maker. He is inside right now, cleaning the hands that belong to that clock window on the top floor. This is Tiny House #34.
It is for this reason that I am also submitting this illustration for the topic “Time” at Illustration Friday, from which I have been absent for ages! Topics are posted each Friday, and anyone who illustrates the topic in some way is invited to submit their link.
Above, we continue the gripping adventure of the unfinished hound. As you can see, I really need to reference a photo for the direction of that hair on his face. Stay tuned! Thanks for stopping in!

I love this little word you are creating!
Hi Cindy! Happy New Year!! I hope your holidays were wonderful and I look forward to seeing where the “time” presented this new year takes you. This is a great little tree house! I love the odd large old metal garbage can out back, you would thing these guys would have a compost bin in their organic world, but the surprise of this is fun! Thanks for continually stopping by to see what I have been up to, even when I can’t squeeze in an extra second for IF! Hoping to find “time” for more of IF this year! – cheers Alicia
I love this house! I’m glad the clock doesn’t work yet. I don’t like clocks, but I could live in this sweet little house. In my next life i really be a witch. A little one and I can live just here!
I like the teal steps. The gnomes have a good color sense.
I love your unique whimsical creations! This tree house is so inviting. :-D
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. Nice to see that you too are contributing to Illustration Friday. How fun! Cute tree house with the clock window. Hope you had a great holiday.

Happy new year, my dear Cindy!!! Love this little house and the idea of the little gnome cleaning his windows. Lovely work!!!
Love the hound :-)
What a quaint little home! Glad to see you back on IF, Cindy! I’m finding it hard to fit everything in these days, myself….other projects that trump IF. But I hope you will continue to pop in when you can!
(PS – I got 36 more Copics for Christmas – I’m HOOKED!!!)
