A trio of “Alice in Wonderland With a Twist” art cards, for an online art card swap. White Rabbit is Late (a bit steampunk), Toothy Alice (a bit vampiric), Fancy Cheshire (TOTALLY FANCY!) :)

Your imagination is out of this world! I love all three ♥♥♥♥♥
They are so fantastic! If I don’t get one, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
Or at the minimum, great sorrow.
Looking at your progress pics, I again decide that I am over-obsessed with blending, particularly where the edges of shadows are concerned. Shadows have hard lines and make fun strange shapes, like you have on the progress pics of Alice. Must do something about this!
Yes, I have embraced the non-smooth shadows! Sometimes they go a bit wonky but even then it seems like the shadow of…something. Lots of layers makes lots of shapes. :)
Great new interpretations! LOVE the cheshire cat:)
What cool interpretations, and fits the whimsical feel so well!
I love Alice in Wonderland but you’ve certainly put a new twist on her!
These are great. The Cheshire Cat makes me smile :)
Cindy, Alice in Wonderland is a great place for illustration inspiration. I love the clock hat on your white rabbit and you captured the smile of the Cheshire Cat. The John Tenniel illustrations in the original 1865 Alice in Wonderland are very well done. He has a great level of detail and the compositions are well crafted. If you have not seen them already, you should check them out. I love his creepy illustration of the Jabberwocky from Through the Looking-Glass.
These are so fantastically grotesque looking……..alice in wonderland characters are so interesting. You can make them fun, innocent, or so evil! This is a lovely trio…..wonderful colors too!
Love the Cheshire Cat!
