Paints and Dogs on YouTube, a new start.

Hello! Do people come to blogs anymore? I am going to try to find some after I post this. I know the artist at Ruth’s Artwork is still at it, because I still get her newsletter. And I really need to visit, I think it’s been ages. It’s so easy to disappear from the blog world and then suddenly a year or more has passed.

ANYWAY. Please do come visit my channel, still in its infancy, mostly art process videos and some dogs videos. Painting monsters and dogs and who knows what. And stuff like these Sharpie shoes, recently posted.

This may be my favorite video so far, another short, Louise the monster. While making this video I realized the painting was a lot different than I remembered. It’s so hard to really see what you’re painting, after you’ve been staring at it so long.

I’m going to send a newsletter! The first in a couple years (or more). I wonder how many emails are still good, and if anyone will be interested. UPDATE: Nevermind. Could not recall how or find the newsletter. lol

Thanks for stopping by. :-)

Hello fine visitors! If you happen to be from, or are familiar with, this Thirty Paintings in 30 Days Challenge, of which today is day number 11, and which I am trying like the Dickens to complete, I would just like to say:

If I don’t finish in the normal way, I reserve the right to use the approximately seventy-three hundred versions of this painting as at least, maybe, four of the 30 paintings. A small sampling:

Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hound
Various stages of 5×7 acrylic painting

Thanks for stopping in for the occasional horror of my novice acrylics adventures! As you can see I’ve fallen back on some things I am familiar with, like outlines. And swirly backgrounds. Behold the transformation below. (All tips and criticisms welcome!)
